Yoga & Nutrition
For Midlife & Beyond
As a yoga teacher and health coach, I passionately believe that we have the power, through the lifestyle choices we make, to maximise our health & wellbeing and live our best lives. As I made my way through my 40s I began to realise more and more that there is no time more important than in our mid-life years to nurture and care for our body and mind.
Our forties are not too dissimilar to the teenage years in many ways. They are a time of significant hormonal shifts, particularly for women (but also to some degree for men too), and our bodies begin changing rapidly. As mid-life begins to bight, you might be feeling your energy levels slump, your weight slowly increase, aches and pains appear, and your eyesight weakening. It can all be a little scary. One minute we're young and full of energy, and the next it seems that we're careering towards old age.
But we have a choice. If we start listening to and nurturing our body and mind, we can take charge of our own health and wellbeing, minimise the symptoms of menopause and feel healthy, vibrant and full of energy again. I find yoga and nutrition powerful tools in working with my body, rather than against it ,as it matures and adjusts to its new hormone levels. And my clients find this too. I combine my professional Yoga Teacher training, my Integrative Nutrition Health Coach Training, and my Psychology training, with my passion for improving my own health and wellbeing and use all of these elements to develop:

-
Nourishing group yoga classes designed to soothe the nervous system, reduce stress and anxiety, gently build strength and flexibility (helping to reduce aches and pains and the risk of osteoporosis), and build body confidence;
-
Bespoke one to one yoga sessions designed to help clients meet their own specific health and wellbeing goals;
-
Bespoke one to one health coaching programmes designed to support clients take a holistic approach to making lifestyle changes that support their improved health and wellbeing.
